The West Alabama Heritage Learning Center is proudly a part of Northport’s Celebration of Alabama’s Bicentennial on April 6, 2019.

1 PM Bonnie Fields and Her Guitar Students

WAHLC will be open 10 AM -4 PM.

Walk- though historic displays and exhibits, or have a personal tour of our state and local history. Browse the Genealogy Library, enjoy looking at antique furniture, paintings, and prints, learn about the history of the early settlers and pioneers. Register for Door Prizes. We will be giving away 3 baskets full of items produced locally or throughout the state. The book Cotton Warehouses, Saloons, & Killings: Northport Before 1860 by Hayse Boyd M. D. will be for sale and author will be available for Book Signing. We will have many other activities and Great Music.

There are many other activities in downtown Northport that day. Bake Sale, Wildflower Sale, Photo Booth, Easter Bunny, Kid’s Korner, Food Trucks, a Parade and much more.
